Before the Stage: An Evening with Denyce Graves & Generational Voices

Our historic Clubhouse living room becomes an intimate salon stage for Denyce Graves — one of the most celebrated operatic mezzo-sopranos in the world — alongside her hand-selected protégés from the Denyce Graves Foundation's Generational Voices program.

You will hear these extraordinary young artists up close, unamplified, and undeniably powerful — the evening before they take the Chautauqua Amphitheater stage. This is the rare gift of witnessing greatness before the world fully discovers it.

The evening begins with cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres, followed by a salon-style performance — immediate, personal, and unlike anything you'll experience in a traditional concert hall. Ms. Graves will be with us throughout the evening, and a special guest from the international opera stage may join us as well.
